Winding Down Of Summer

As this summer is winding down, it is a time to enjoy and appreciate how the gardens are changing. There is a certain nostalgia that we associate with the season. I enjoy the serenity of sitting around a bonfire watching the dancing flames and toasting marshmallows, or what ever reminds me of the season. I always want mums, pumpkins and autumn leaves. It is a good time to exchange recipes, taste food and enjoy friendships.

These are just a few pictures that will soon be just a memory as the next season is quickly coming upon us. Each season has its merits. Fortunately for me, I love the winter months.
